City of York Council Pre-Planning Exhibition

The City of York Council administrative accommodation is currently housed in over 16 separate locations in non fit for purpose outdated building stock. The Council is now committed to bring these activities together into a new state of the art facility at the Hungate, at the edge of the historic core of the city.

Recently the City of York Council has unveiled the first images of its landmark new £40 million offices at Hungate, in the east of the city centre. A pre-planning exhibition was held over 3 days at Mansion House, York with attendees including the Mayor of York and around 500 council staff.
