Doncaster Bloodstock Sales achieves Practical Completion

Create are pleased to announce that the new DBS Sales Complex achieved Practical Completion on 10th March 2008 after starting construction on 19th March 2007.

The first Sale in the new Complex will be the Lincoln Handicap Sales on 1 April, followed by the official opening during the Breeze-Up Sales on 9-10 April.

The complex has 508 stables, a custom built Sales Arena which includes a restaurant, bars, agents’ offices and all the amenities required at a sale, veterinary facilities, loading and unloading areas, and very importantly, good showing areas for the horses.

Though the works have been challenging to deliver, the end result is suitably impressive and sets a new benchmark for international standard bloodstock sales facilities.  This is testimony to the hard work by the whole team over the last 2 years.
