New Staff

The team at Create are delighted to welcome new members of staff to our expanding team.   Peter who is an Associate almost 20 years experience working with consulting engineers since graduating from Queens University Belfast. Peter started work in Glasgow as a graduate engineer gaining experience in reinforced concrete and steel design with in a marine port development, including seismic design of piled structures and machine foundations for a power station plant.

When Peter moved to Edinburgh he got more involved with industrial steel structures, varying from building and monument restorations for Historic Scotland to extensions and plant supports for BP Grangemouth.  Peter focused more on building structural design thereafter designing alterations and new structures around Scotland.

Alan is a Senior Engineer with 15 years of experience. He originally worked and trained as a technician and developed his skills resulting in graduating from Heriot Watt University with a Structural Engineering degree. He has gained experience in steel and concrete design in new buildings as well as refurbishment work in all sectors.

Andy is a Senior Structural Engineer originally from Edinburgh with 8 years experience designing building structures following his graduation from Heriot-Watt University in 1999.  Andy recently passed his Institution of Structural Engineers Chartered Membership Examination.

Nadine is a Structural Technician originally from Germany with a Diploma in Structural Engineering. She’s gained some experience with another consultancy in Edinburgh before joining Create. Nadine is currently doing and MSc (Distance Learning) in Timber Engineering at Napier University.

Richard is a Graduate Engineer who graduated with a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from Heriot Watt University in 2006. He is originally from Edinburgh and has gained experience from working with a previous firm since graduating.
